We are a small family run business specialising in domestic extensions and alterations. Our family history in the building industry spans three generations and includes Architects, Engineers, Electricians, Decorators, Bricklayers and Carpenters. ASD Builders was formed in 1983 and now is a Limited Company run by brothers Andrew and David Downs.

1976	Approved Bricklaying apprenticeship with J. Mowlem plc.
1976	Varied experience with J.Mowlem in residential developments progressing to specialist works department working on listed buildings and Houses of Parliament.
1983	Formed ASD Builders as a sole proprietor.

1985/86	Civil Engineering Operative training with C.I.T.B.
1986	Experience in site management with J. Mowlem plc at HMP Swaleside.
1986/7	Apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery. City and Guild qualifications progressing to advanced studies.
1987	Joined ASD Builders.
1998	Confirmed Member Of the Institute of Carpenters.
1995	ASD builders registered as a Limited Company.

Contracts undertaken up to a value of £230,000 in London and the South East.
Types of work completed: Housebuilding, Domestic Extensions, Property Alterations Repair and Maintenance, , Loft Conversions, Hard Landscaping, Structural Retaining Walls, All aspects of residential construction and repairs.
